When I'm in South California I am constantly drawn back to the same things, little bits of my youth.

This is the the top corner of the school that I went to from kindergarden to 1st grade. I remember standing there with my childhood frind and looking out at night, and wondering who lived down there. The lights were shimmering and beautiful but it wasn't PV, where ewe lived. Soon I lived down there in Torrance.

This is the park where I would sometimes convince my mom to take me after church. It was on the way home, and I loved this park. That little crappy boat is a replacement for what i remember as a huge metal ship. You could dig under it, and it had a huge upper deck, and it was amazing. The view from this park is amazing. THe ocean sits behind these rolling green hills, there is a golf course behind it that I don't remember being there.

This lighthouse sits just across the street form the church I grew up going to. It was a cool church, great design. There were supposed to be whales migrating right now, but I didn't see any.

This is from Redondo beach, where I go surfing when there are waves.... There are none this week. very sad.
Instead I've been doing yoga, the other day, I tok a class form this nutty Italian guy, he was super nice, funny and complimentary.
