Impermanence

This is a place for me to post daily images - very few of these are final images, meaning there is almost always more work to be done. Final Images are here.

nothing

--Last night I walked into the Showbox for what I thought was David Bazan’s first song, Hallelujah, but it ended up being his last song. Would have been nice to see more, but I was still delighted to at least hear that song again.

-- Bella caught a squirrel this morning. I let her out she ran downt he stairs instead of back to the lawn and all of a sudden she had a squirrel in her mouth. After much early morning yelling the squirrel got away and made it up the tree but I think Bella will now have more of a taste for squirrels.

Also...
I haven’t seen back to back shows by the same performer for a long time. It was very interesting two different experiences. Sunday I was lost in the past thinking about all of the concerts I’ve seen that made an impact on me for whatever reason, and there are so many reasons. I got lost in the past, pulled back to the present and spent the in between time wondering why I was spinning in the past as opposed to being present and aware of what was now. Last night I spent more time listening and watching the crowd. Super fun to see people smiling and laughing

Also…
The thing about putting more words up here is that because I’m always vague I always think things come out more negative, more bleak than they really are. It’s been sunny sometimes lately, I’ve found time to sit in the sun and read with only periodic interruptions from Bella. In Irvine I grew up reading some of the most important books, books I still cherish sitting in one chair, reading with a cat in my lap, taking breaks every couple of hours to stretch my legs(really to go try to master backside kick flips to tail so I could try to show up Jason, Josh and Ed, which never really worked, I could show up Josh, but then he’d show me up in some other way, and I could never show up Jason and Ed Skateboarding), I wish I had that type of focus now.
