Good Bye to 2006

There is something about me that likes clean starts and clean beginnings (which is hilarious because I keep seeming to recreate not clean starts), but I’m slowly realizing that resetting is more of an illusion and the better thing for me is to accept where I am, and deal with it. I’m working on accepting what is and working to make life more of what I want it to be.
I’m more for starting changes on arbitrary dates than on milestones like new years but every new year I do try to give everything a bit of a blank slate (does that contradict the above?); let bygones be bygones, drop grudges and complaints as well as create enough room to get over the past and make room for the future. I’m also hoping people grant me forgiveness for my mistakes and any pain I’ve caused them.
Maybe this is all too much for a place I normally just post snapshots, but I keep thinking about these things, and so I’m putting them here before I move onto the next photo.
I hope this new year is a great one for all of us!
